Inside I am like wine which has no outlet, ¹  like new wineskins ²  ready to burst!

Who can uncover its outer covering? ¹  Who can penetrate to the inside of its armor? ² 

My heart beats violently ¹  within me; the horrors of death overcome me. ² 

But I (the Lord says) will be a wall of fire surrounding Jerusalem ¹  and the source of glory in her midst.’”

“Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are voracious wolves. ¹ 

The one on the roof ¹  must not come down or go inside to take anything out of his house. ² 

I have not come ¹  to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” ² 

But give from your heart to those in need, ¹  and ²  then everything will be clean for you. ³ 

Peter ¹  continued talking with him as he went in, and he found many people gathered together. ² 

So David set out and went to the place where Saul was camped. David saw the place where Saul and Abner son of Ner, the general in command of his army, were sleeping. Now Saul was lying in the entrenchment, and the army was camped all around him.

Then he went into the inner sanctuary and measured the jambs of the entrance as 3½ feet, ¹  the entrance as 10½ feet, ²  and the width of the entrance as 12¼ feet ³ 

Then ¹  he will reply ²  from inside, ‘Do not bother me. The door is already shut, and my children and I are in bed. ³  I cannot get up and give you anything.’ ⁴ 

But the children struggled ¹  inside her, and she said, “If it is going to be like this, I’m not so sure I want to be pregnant!” ²  So she asked the Lord, ³ 

The sword will make people childless outside, and terror will do so inside; they will destroy ¹  both the young man and the virgin, the infant and the gray-haired man.

He measured the porch of the gate as 14 feet, ¹  and its jambs as 3½ feet; ²  the porch of the gate faced inward.

He measured ¹  the porch ²  at 105 feet ³  high; ⁴  the gateway went all around to the jamb of the courtyard.

There were seven steps going up to it; its porches were in front of them. It had decorative palm trees on its jambs, one on either side.
