Can you count on ¹  it to bring in ²  your grain, ³  and gather the grain ⁴  to your threshing floor? ⁵ 

He says: ¹  “Assemble my covenant people before me, ²  those who ratified a covenant with me by sacrifice!” ³ 

Wealth gained quickly ¹  will dwindle away, ²  but the one who gathers it little by little ³  will become rich. ⁴ 

The one who increases his wealth by increasing interest ¹  gathers it for someone who is gracious ²  to the needy.

“For a short time I abandoned ¹  you, but with great compassion I will gather you.

Gather your belongings together and prepare to leave the land, you people of Jerusalem ¹  who are being besieged. ² 

Whoever is not with me is against me, ¹  and whoever does not gather with me scatters. ² 

But he said, ‘No, since in gathering the weeds you may uproot the wheat with them.

For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

Now when the Pharisees ¹  heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, ²  they assembled together. ³ 

Then ¹  the apostles gathered around Jesus and told him everything they had done and taught.

Now ¹  the Pharisees ²  and some of the experts in the law ³  who came from Jerusalem ⁴  gathered around him.

Whoever is not with me is against me, ¹  and whoever does not gather with me scatters. ² 

Let both grow together until the harvest. At ¹  harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned, but then ²  gather ³  the wheat into my barn.”’”

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, ¹  you who kill the prophets and stone those who are sent to you! ²  How often I have longed ³  to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but ⁴  you would have none of it! ⁵ 

Then he ¹  said to his relatives, “Gather stones.” So they brought stones and put them in a pile. ²  They ate there by the pile of stones.

“‘When you gather in the harvest ¹  of your land, you must not completely harvest the corner of your field, ²  and you must not gather up the gleanings of your harvest.

Deliver us, O Lord, our God! Gather us from among the nations! Then we will give thanks ¹  to your holy name, and boast about your praiseworthy deeds. ² 

He will lift a signal flag for the nations; he will gather Israel’s dispersed people ¹  and assemble Judah’s scattered people from the four corners of the earth.

It will be as when one gathers the grain harvest, and his hand gleans the ear of grain. It will be like one gathering the ears of grain in the Valley of Rephaim.
