You will not eat anything made with yeast; in all the places where you live you must eat bread made without yeast.’”

They asked for food, ¹  and he sent quails; he satisfied them with food from the sky. ² 

Bread gained by deceit ¹  tastes sweet to a person, ²  but afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel. ³ 

“It is not right ¹  to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs,” ²  he said. ³ 

They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, ¹  to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ² 

“On the table of the presence ¹  they must spread a blue ²  cloth, and put on it the dishes, the pans, the bowls, and the pitchers for pouring, and the Bread of the Presence must be on it continually.

You have given them tears as food; ¹  you have made them drink tears by the measure. ² 

She watches over ¹  the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. ² 

Send ¹  your grain ²  overseas, ³  for after many days you will get a return. ⁴ 

Bring out some water for the thirsty. You who live in the land of Tema, bring some food for the fugitives.

and ¹  bread made without yeast, and perforated cakes without yeast mixed with oil, and wafers without yeast spread ²  with oil – you are to make them using ³  fine wheat flour.

and a basket of bread made without yeast, cakes of fine flour mixed with olive oil, wafers made without yeast and smeared with olive oil, and their ¹  grain offering and their drink offerings. ² 

Our ancestors ¹  ate the manna in the wilderness, just as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” ² 

After he said this, Paul ¹  took bread ²  and gave thanks to God in front of them all, ³  broke ⁴  it, and began to eat.
