Moreover, on that day living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, ¹  half of them to the eastern sea ²  and half of them to the western sea; ³  it will happen both in summer and in winter.

including all the Arabah of the Transjordan in the east to the sea of the Arabah, ¹  beneath the watershed ²  of Pisgah.)

If I were to fly away ¹  on the wings of the dawn, ²  and settle down on the other side ³  of the sea,

Praise the Lord from the earth, you sea creatures and all you ocean depths,

And it is not across the sea, as though one must say, “Who will cross over to the other side of the sea and get it for us and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

You split the sea before them, and they crossed through ¹  the sea on dry ground! But you threw their pursuers ²  into the depths, like a stone into surging ³  waters.
