and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. ¹ 

And this is what we intend to do, ¹  if God permits.

Shaphan brought the scroll to the king and reported, ¹  “Your servants are doing everything assigned to them.

For the living know that they will die, but the dead do not know anything; they have no further reward – and even the memory of them disappears. ¹

but if the cloud was not lifted up, then they would not journey further until the day it was lifted up. ¹ 

If, however, the scall spreads further ¹  on the skin after his purification,

“They are dismayed ²  and cannot answer any more; they have nothing left to say. ³ 

The reward ¹  which the righteous receive ²  is life; the recompense ³  which the wicked receive ⁴  is judgment. ⁵ 

He said to me, “Do you see, son of man? Is it a trivial thing that the house of Judah commits these abominations they are practicing here? For they have filled the land with violence and provoked me to anger still further. Look, they are putting the branch to their nose! ¹ 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  said, “A man had two sons.

For they did not dare any longer to ask ¹  him anything.

Furthermore, those who have fallen asleep ¹  in Christ have also perished.

Go and make further arrangements. Determine precisely ¹  where he is ²  and who has seen him there, for I am told that he is extremely cunning.

So these three men refused to answer ²  Job further, because he was righteous in his ³  own eyes.

“Therefore, speak to the house of Israel, son of man, and tell them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: In this way too your fathers blasphemed me when they were unfaithful to me.
