“‘The land will give its fruit and you may eat until you are satisfied, ¹  and you may live securely in the land.

Those who remain in Judah will take root in the ground and bear fruit. ¹ 

Then if ¹  it bears fruit next year, ²  very well, ³  but if ⁴  not, you can cut it down.’”

For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit ¹  of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” ² 

for the fruit of the light ¹  consists in ²  all goodness, righteousness, and truth –

God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: ¹  plants yielding seeds according to their kinds, ²  and ³  trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” It was so.

with the harvest produced by the daylight ¹  and by ²  the moonlight; ³ 

“‘When you enter the land and plant any fruit tree, ¹  you must consider its fruit to be forbidden. ²  Three years it will be forbidden to you; ³  it must not be eaten.

Ephraim will be struck down ¹  – their root will be dried up; they will not yield any fruit. Even if they do bear children, I will kill their precious offspring.

Then God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

I will make you ¹  extremely ²  fruitful. I will make nations of you, and kings will descend from you. ³ 

The Israelites, ¹  however, ²  were fruitful, increased greatly, multiplied, and became extremely strong, ³  so that the land was filled with them.

Tell the innocent ¹  it will go well with them, ²  for they will be rewarded for what they have done. ³ 

He named the second child Ephraim, ¹  saying, ²  “Certainly ³  God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”

I brought you ¹  into a fertile land so you could enjoy ²  its fruits and its rich bounty. But when you entered my land, you defiled it; ³  you made the land I call my own ⁴  loathsome to me.

Then I will stop the plague ¹  from ruining your crops, ²  and the vine will not lose its fruit before harvest,” says the Lord who rules over all.

You did not choose me, but I chose you ¹  and appointed you to go and bear ²  fruit, fruit that remains, ³  so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.

The Lord will greatly multiply your children, ¹  the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your soil in the land which he ²  promised your ancestors ³  he would give you.

Whirring locusts ¹  will take over every tree and all the produce of your soil.

He gave their crops to the grasshopper, the fruit of their labor to the locust.
