he digs a pit ¹  and then falls into the hole he has made. ² 

When the wall has collapsed, people will ask you, “Where is the whitewash you coated it with?”

Then the disciples replied, ¹  “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”

When the residents of Ashdod got up early the next day, ¹  Dagon was lying on the ground before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set him back in his place.
