And while they still could not believe it ¹  (because of their joy) and were amazed, ²  he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” ³ 

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, ¹  full of mercy and good fruit, ²  impartial, and not hypocritical. ³ 

But if you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with Purah your servant

Now look, I realize that you will in fact be king and that the kingdom of Israel will be established in your hand.

A psalm by Asaph. Certainly God is good to Israel, ²  and to those whose motives are pure! ³ 

When worries threaten to overwhelm me, ¹  your soothing touch makes me happy. ² 

She knows ¹  that her merchandise is good, and her lamp ²  does not go out in the night.

so that you may know for certain ¹  the things you were taught. ² 

But if I cast out demons by the finger ¹  of God, then the kingdom of God ²  has already overtaken ³  you.

Now all the tax collectors ¹  and sinners were coming ²  to hear him.

(Now Jesus ¹  said this to test him, for he knew what he was going to do.) ² 

When they heard these words, some of the crowd ¹  began to say, “This really ²  is the Prophet!” ³ 

“I have told you all these things so that you will not fall away. ¹ 

Now they understand ¹  that everything ²  you have given me comes from you,

for they heard them speaking in tongues and praising ¹  God. Then Peter said,

So because these facts ¹  are indisputable, ²  you must keep quiet ³  and not do anything reckless. ⁴ 

What then should we do? They will no doubt ¹  hear that you have come.

For there must in fact be divisions among you, so that those of you who are approved may be evident. ¹ 

For you are certainly giving thanks well, but the other person is not strengthened.

Or is he not surely speaking for our benefit? It was written for us, because the one plowing and threshing ought to work in hope of enjoying the harvest.
