He covers ¹  the sky with clouds, provides the earth with rain, and causes grass to grow on the hillsides. ² 

You shrouded yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can get through.

Then ¹  a voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One. ²  Listen to him!” ³ 

So ¹  the one seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.

While he was still speaking, a ¹  bright cloud ²  overshadowed ³  them, and a voice from the cloud said, ⁴  “This is my one dear Son, ⁵  in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!” ⁶ 

He gave a command to the clouds above, and opened the doors in the sky.

By his knowledge the primordial sea ¹  was broken open, ²  and the clouds drip down dew. ³

Like cloudy skies and wind that produce no rain, ¹  so is the one who boasts ²  of a gift not given. ³ 

He who watches the wind will not sow, and he who observes the clouds will not reap. ¹ 

before the sun and the light ¹  of the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds disappear ²  after the rain;

Then everyone ¹  will see the Son of Man arriving in the clouds ²  with great power and glory.

Then ¹  they will see the Son of Man arriving in a cloud ²  with power and great glory.

For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, but fire would be ¹  on it at night, in plain view ²  of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

Gaze at the heavens and see; consider the clouds, which are higher than you! ¹ 

He spoke to them from a pillar of cloud; ¹  they obeyed his regulations and the ordinance he gave them.
