Baruch answered, “Yes, they came from his own mouth. He dictated all these words to me and I wrote them down in ink on this scroll.” ¹ 

Pilate also had a notice ¹  written and fastened to the cross, ²  which read: ³  “Jesus the Nazarene, the king of the Jews.”

that ¹  by revelation the divine secret ²  was made known to me, as I wrote before briefly. ³ 

I wrote something to the church, ¹  but Diotrephes, ²  who loves to be first among them, does not acknowledge us. ³ 

And he revealed to you the covenant ¹  he has commanded you to keep, the ten commandments, ²  writing them on two stone tablets.

You must carefully obey at all times the rules, regulations, law, and commandments he wrote down for you. You must not worship other gods.

This is the disciple who testifies about these things and has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true.
