then you plunge me into a slimy pit ¹  and my own clothes abhor me.

how much less man, who is abominable and corrupt, ¹  who drinks in evil like water! ² 

The speech ¹  of the righteous bears the fruit of wisdom, ²  but the one who speaks perversion ³  will be destroyed. ⁴
