When the people ¹  moved eastward, ²  they found a plain in Shinar ³  and settled there.

Or speak ¹  to the earth ²  and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea declare to you.

to whom I appointed the steppe for its home, the salt wastes as its dwelling place?

Scatter abroad ¹  the abundance ²  of your anger. Look at every proud man ³  and bring him low;
