The appetite ¹  of the wicked desires ²  evil; his neighbor is shown no favor ³  in his eyes.

My lover thrust his hand ¹  through ²  the hole, ³  and my feelings ⁴  were stirred ⁵  for him.

Our affection for you is not restricted, ¹  but you are restricted in your affections for us.

and if jealous feelings ¹  come over him and he becomes suspicious ²  of his wife, when she is defiled; ³  or if jealous feelings come over him and he becomes suspicious of his wife, when she is not defiled –

So put to death whatever in your nature belongs to the earth: ¹  sexual immorality, impurity, shameful passion, ²  evil desire, and greed which is idolatry.

For how can we thank God enough for you, ¹  for all the joy we feel ²  because of you before our God?
