They took all the plunder and all the spoils, both people and animals.

For the hills bring it food, ¹  where all the wild animals play.

For every wild animal in the forest belongs to me, as well as the cattle that graze on a thousand hills. ¹ 

He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, including both men and animals.

And all living things ¹  that moved on the earth died, including the birds, domestic animals, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all humankind.

“‘If what is vowed is a kind of animal from which an offering may be presented ¹  to the Lord, anything which he gives to the Lord from this kind of animal ²  will be holy.

And you must not eat any blood of the birds or the domesticated land animals in any of the places where you live. ¹ 

‘Cursed is the one who commits bestiality.’ ¹  Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

A righteous person cares for ¹  the life of his animal, but even the most compassionate acts ²  of the wicked are cruel.

Who really knows if the human spirit ¹  ascends upward, and the animal’s spirit descends into the earth?

In it ¹  were all kinds of four-footed animals and reptiles ²  of the earth and wild birds. ³ 

The firstborn of every womb which they present to the Lord, whether human or animal, will be yours. Nevertheless, the firstborn sons you must redeem, ¹  and the firstborn males of unclean animals you must redeem.

But God remembered ¹  Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over ²  the earth and the waters receded.

They will all be left ¹  for the birds of the hills and the wild animals; ²  the birds will eat them during the summer, and all the wild animals will eat them during the winter.

For the bodies of those animals whose blood the high priest brings ¹  into the sanctuary as an offering for sin are burned outside the camp.

“But now, ask the animals and they ²  will teach you, or the birds of the sky and they will tell you.

All you wild animals in the fields, come and devour, all you wild animals in the forest!

For they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.” ¹ 

including all the sheep and cattle, as well as the wild animals, ¹ 

For the fate of humans ¹  and the fate of animals are the same: As one dies, so dies the other; both have the same breath. There is no advantage for humans over animals, for both are fleeting.
