At the two corners ¹  they must be doubled at the lower end and finished together at the top in one ring. So it will be for both.

You are to make its four horns ¹  on its four corners; its horns will be part of it, ²  and you are to overlay it with bronze.

You are to make a grating ¹  for it, a network of bronze, and you are to make on the network four bronze rings on its four corners.

At the two corners ¹  they were doubled at the lower end and ²  finished together at the top in one ring. So he did for both.

He cast four gold rings for it that he put ¹  on its four feet, with ²  two rings on one side and two rings on the other side.

He made its horns on its four corners; its horns were part of it, ¹  and he overlaid it with bronze.

After him Malkijah, one of the goldsmiths, worked as far as the house of the temple servants and the traders, opposite the Inspection Gate, ¹  and up to the room above the corner.

O Lord, sovereign God! ¹  Who is strong like you, O Lord? Your faithfulness surrounds you.

The Teacher says: I discovered this while trying to discover the scheme of things, item by item.

“Indeed a time is coming,” ¹  says the Lord, ²  “when the city of Jerusalem ³  will be rebuilt as my special city. ⁴  It will be built from the Tower of Hananel westward to the Corner Gate. ⁵

Inside the stand was a round opening that was a foot-and-a-half deep; it had a support that was two and one-quarter feet long. ¹  On the edge of the opening were carvings in square frames. ² 

In Jerusalem he made war machines carefully designed to shoot arrows and large stones from the towers and corners of the walls. He became very famous, for he received tremendous support and became powerful. ¹ 

Therefore, this is what the sovereign master, the Lord, says: “Look, I am laying ¹  a stone in Zion, an approved ²  stone, set in place as a precious cornerstone for the foundation. ³  The one who maintains his faith will not panic. ⁴ 

The whole valley where dead bodies and sacrificial ashes are thrown ¹  and all the terraced fields ²  out to the Kidron Valley ³  on the east as far north ⁴  as the Horse Gate ⁵  will be included within this city that is sacred to the Lord. ⁶  The city will never again be torn down or destroyed.”
