The light in his tent grows dark; his lamp above him is extinguished. ¹ 

He is dragged from the security of his tent, ¹  and marched off ²  to the king ³  of terrors.

Fire resides in his tent; ¹  over his residence burning sulfur is scattered.

For you say, ‘Where now is the nobleman’s house, ¹  and where are the tents in which the wicked lived?’ ² 

If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; ¹  if you remove wicked behavior far from your tent,

just as I was in my most productive time, ¹  when God’s intimate friendship ²  was experienced in my tent,

if ¹  the members of my household ²  have never said, ³  ‘If only there were ⁴  someone who has not been satisfied from Job’s ⁵  meat!’ –

O Lord, I love the temple where you live, ¹  the place where your splendor is revealed. ² 

He struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, the firstfruits of their reproductive power ¹  in the tents of Ham.

Certainly his loyal followers will soon experience his deliverance; ¹  then his splendor will again appear in our land. ² 

They celebrate deliverance in the tents of the godly. ¹  The Lord’s right hand conquers, ² 

If you do not obey me, ¹  then I will do to this temple what I did to Shiloh. ²  And I will make this city an example to be used in curses by people from all the nations on the earth.’”

He ¹  found favor ²  with ³  God and asked that he could ⁴  find a dwelling place ⁵  for the house ⁶  of Jacob.

The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, ¹  the way a person speaks ²  to a friend. Then Moses ³  would return to the camp, but his servant, Joshua son of Nun, a young man, did not leave the tent. ⁴ 

Look at Zion, the city where we hold religious festivals! You ¹  will see Jerusalem, ²  a peaceful settlement, a tent that stays put; ³  its stakes will never be pulled up; none of its ropes will snap in two.

When Benaiah arrived at the tent of the Lord, he said to him, “The king says, ‘Come out!’” But he replied, “No, I will die here!” So Benaiah sent word to the king and reported Joab’s reply. ¹ 

So there are to be eight frames and their silver bases, sixteen bases, two bases under the first frame, and two bases under the next frame.

“You are to make a special curtain ¹  of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine twisted linen; it is to be made ²  with cherubim, the work of an artistic designer.

“You are to make a hanging ¹  for the entrance of the tent of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine twined linen, the work of an embroiderer. ² 

All the gold that was used for the work, in all the work of the sanctuary ¹  (namely, ²  the gold of the wave offering) was twenty-nine talents and 730 shekels, ³  according to the sanctuary shekel.
