Ahaz passed away ¹  and was buried in the City of David; ²  they did not bring him to the tombs of the kings of Israel. His son Hezekiah replaced him as king.

Manasseh passed away ¹  and was buried in his palace. His son Amon replaced him as king.

After him Baruch son of Zabbai worked on another section, from the buttress to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

After them Benjamin and Hasshub worked opposite their house. After them Azariah son of Maaseiah, the son of Ananiah, worked near his house.

From one month ¹  to the next and from one Sabbath to the next, all people ²  will come to worship me,” ³  says the Lord.

Tell your children ¹  about it, have your children tell their children, and their children the following generation. ² 

Next I saw Joshua the high priest ¹  standing before the angel of the Lord, with Satan ²  standing at his right hand to accuse him.

But Jesus said, “Do not stop him, because no one who does a miracle in my name will be able soon afterward to say anything bad about me.

and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you can send me on my journey, wherever I go.

Early in the morning Abraham took ¹  some food ²  and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He put them on her shoulders, gave her the child, ³  and sent her away. So she went wandering ⁴  aimlessly through the wilderness ⁵  of Beer Sheba.

Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, and three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on the next ¹  branch, and the same ²  for the six branches extending from the lampstand.

Remain here tonight. Then in the morning, if he agrees to marry you, ¹  fine, ²  let him do so. ³  But if he does not want to do so, I promise, as surely as the Lord lives, to marry you. ⁴  Sleep here until morning.” ⁵ 

He launched a military campaign ¹  against the king of the Ammonites and defeated them. That year the Ammonites paid him 100 talents ²  of silver, 10,000 kors ³  of wheat, and 10,000 kors ⁴  of barley. The Ammonites also paid this same amount of annual tribute the next two years. ⁵ 

This was the field Abraham had purchased from the sons of Heth. ¹  There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah.

Then Joseph brought in his father Jacob and presented him ¹  before Pharaoh. Jacob blessed ²  Pharaoh.

You must leave nothing until morning, but you must burn with fire whatever remains of it until morning.

In the evening the quail ¹  came up and covered the camp, and in the morning a layer of dew was all around the camp.

So they put it aside until the morning, just as Moses had commanded, and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it.

“You are to take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel, ¹ 

“You are to make a plate ¹  of pure gold and engrave on it the way a seal is engraved: ²  “Holiness to the Lord.” ³
