How can I repay the Lord for all his acts of kindness to me?

He ¹  will reward ²  each one according to his works: ³ 

I am obligated to fulfill the vows I made to you, O God; ¹  I will give you the thank-offerings you deserve, ² 

Rise up, O judge of the earth! Pay back the proud!

Obey ¹  with enthusiasm, as though serving the Lord ²  and not people,

They repay me evil for the good I have done; though I have tried to do good to them, they hurl accusations at me. ¹ 

When all Israel heard about the judicial decision which the king had rendered, they respected ¹  the king, for they realized ²  that he possessed supernatural wisdom ³  to make judicial decisions.

Pay them back for their evil deeds! Pay them back for what they do! Punish them! ¹ 

For look, the Lord comes with fire, his chariots come like a windstorm, ¹  to reveal his raging anger, his battle cry, and his flaming arrows. ² 

These are the things you must do: Speak the truth, each of you, to one another. Practice true and righteous judgment in your courts. ¹ 

So ¹  he said to them, “Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” ² 

and you, O Lord, demonstrate loyal love. ¹  For you repay men for what they do. ² 

The sound of battle comes from the city; the sound comes from the temple! It is the sound of the Lord paying back his enemies.

ת (Tav) Pay them back ¹  what they deserve, ²  O Lord, according to what they ³  have done. ⁴ 

They replied, ¹  “Caesar’s.” He said to them, ²  “Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” ³ 

Then Jesus said to them, “Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” ¹  And they were utterly amazed at him.

Pay everyone what is owed: taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.

For how can we thank God enough for you, ¹  for all the joy we feel ²  because of you before our God?

then listen from your heavenly dwelling place, forgive their sin, ¹  and act favorably toward each one based on your evaluation of their motives. ²  (Indeed you are the only one who can correctly evaluate the motives of all people.) ³ 

Of all the most holy offerings reserved ¹  from the fire this will be yours: Every offering of theirs, whether from every grain offering or from every purification offering or from every reparation offering which they bring to me, will be most holy for you and for your sons.
