Your strength will be used up in vain, your land will not give its yield, and the trees of the land ¹  will not produce their fruit.

I will give you your rains in their time so that ¹  the land will give its yield and the trees of the field will produce their fruit. ² 

Indeed, a large vineyard ¹  will produce just a few gallons, ²  and enough seed to yield several bushels ³  will produce less than a bushel.” ⁴ 

“‘The land will give its fruit and you may eat until you are satisfied, ¹  and you may live securely in the land.

Yes, the Lord will bestow his good blessings, ¹  and our land will yield ²  its crops.

When you try to cultivate ¹  the ground it will no longer yield ²  its best ³  for you. You will be a homeless wanderer ⁴  on the earth.”

Asher’s ¹  food will be rich, ²  and he will provide delicacies ³  to royalty.

with the harvest produced by the daylight ¹  and by ²  the moonlight; ³ 

They cultivated ¹  fields, and planted vineyards, which yielded a harvest of fruit. ² 

They sow the wind, and so they will reap the whirlwind! The stalk does not have any standing grain; it will not produce any flour. Even if it were to yield grain, foreigners would swallow it all up.

The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the earth will yield its crops. They will live securely on their land; they will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hand of those who enslaved them.

¹ “For six years ²  you are to sow your land and gather in its produce.

The earth yields its crops. May God, our God, bless us!

Then in the fifth year you may eat its fruit to add its produce to your harvest. ¹  I am the Lord your God.

My fruit is better than the purest gold, ¹  and what I produce ²  is better than choice silver.

For the hills bring it food, ¹  where all the wild animals play.

You must not plant your vineyard with two kinds of seed; otherwise the entire yield, both of the seed you plant and the produce of the vineyard, will be defiled. ¹ 

Do not fear, wild animals! ¹  For the pastures of the wilderness are again green with grass. Indeed, the trees bear their fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield to their fullest. ² 

What more can I do for my vineyard beyond what I have already done? When I waited for it to produce edible grapes, why did it produce sour ones instead?
