Joseph ¹  took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, ² 

So the young men came, ¹  wrapped him up, ²  carried him out, and buried ³  him.

This ¹  will be a sign ²  for you: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger.” ³ 

Water engulfed me up to my neck; ¹  the deep ocean ²  surrounded me; seaweed ³  was wrapped around my head.

Then they took Jesus’ body and wrapped it, with the aromatic spices, ¹  in strips of linen cloth ²  according to Jewish burial customs. ³

My accusers will be covered ¹  with shame, and draped in humiliation as if it were a robe.

It wraps its roots around a heap ¹  of stones ²  and it looks ³  for a place among stones. ⁴ 

when I made ¹  the storm clouds its garment, and thick darkness its swaddling band, ²

So the people took their dough before the yeast was added, ¹  with their kneading troughs bound up in their clothing on their shoulders.

I dressed you in embroidered clothing and put fine leather sandals on your feet. I wrapped you with fine linen and covered you with silk.
