Jesus wept. ¹ 

Then he threw himself on the neck of his brother Benjamin and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck.

And he went outside and wept bitterly. ¹ 

So they buried Abner in Hebron. The king cried loudly ¹  over Abner’s grave and all the people wept too.

Now ¹  when Jesus ²  approached ³  and saw the city, he wept over it,

He kissed all his brothers and wept over them. After this his brothers talked with him.

Then Joseph hugged his father’s face. ¹  He wept over him and kissed him.

But Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. As she wept, she bent down and looked into the tomb.

So ¹  I began weeping bitterly ²  because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.

Then David and the men ¹  who were with him wept loudly ²  until they could weep no more. ³ 

¹ Then all the community raised a loud cry, ²  and the people wept ³  that night.

By the rivers of Babylon we sit down and weep ²  when we remember Zion.

Then Jacob kissed Rachel and began to weep loudly. ¹ 

She was very upset ¹  as she prayed to the Lord, and she was weeping uncontrollably. ² 

Just as he finished speaking, the king’s sons arrived, wailing and weeping. ¹  The king and all his servants wept loudly ²  as well.

He wept loudly; ¹  the Egyptians heard it and Pharaoh’s household heard about it. ² 

Then you came back and wept before the Lord, but he ¹  paid no attention to you whatsoever. ² 

When the Lord’s messenger finished speaking these words to all the Israelites, the people wept loudly. ¹ 

Elisha ¹  just stared at him until Hazael became uncomfortable. ²  Then the prophet started crying.

But Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, hugged his neck, and kissed him. Then they both wept.
