As the night was ending, ¹  Jesus came to them walking on the sea. ² 

Regaining his sight ¹  he said, “I see people, but they look like trees walking.”

All ¹  the people saw him walking and praising God,

When they saw him walking on the water ¹  they thought he was a ghost. They ²  cried out,

I have seen slaves ¹  on horseback and princes walking on foot ²  like slaves.

It was winter, ¹  and Jesus was walking in the temple area ²  in Solomon’s Portico. ³ 

After twelve months, he happened to be walking around on the battlements ¹  of the royal palace of Babylon.

He ¹  jumped up, ²  stood and began walking around, and he entered the temple courts ³  with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

They came again to Jerusalem. ¹  While Jesus ²  was walking in the temple courts, ³  the chief priests, the experts in the law, ⁴  and the elders came up to him

Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles, ¹  they caught sight of Jesus walking on the lake, ²  approaching the boat, and they were frightened.

After this he appeared in a different form to two of them while they were on their way to the country.

When ¹  the disciples saw him walking on the water ²  they were terrified and said, “It’s a ghost!” and cried out with fear.

I rejoiced greatly because I have found some ¹  of your children living according to the truth, ²  just as the Father commanded us. ³ 

He answered, “But I see four men, untied and walking around in the midst of the fire! No harm has come to them! And the appearance of the fourth is like that of a god!” ¹ 

He ¹  saw them straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. As the night was ending, ²  he came to them walking on the sea, ³  for ⁴  he wanted to pass by them. ⁵ 

Solomon demonstrated his loyalty to the Lord by following ¹  the practices ²  of his father David, except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.

As ¹  he was walking by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen). ² 

As a result, the crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing, and they praised the God of Israel.

So you must keep his ¹  commandments, live according to his standards, ²  and revere him.

They ¹  were both righteous in the sight of God, following ²  all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly. ³
