Now Elihu had waited before speaking ¹  to Job, because the others ²  were older than he was.

He waited seven more days and then sent out the dove again from the ark.

“People ¹  listened to me and waited silently; ²  they kept silent for my advice.

For the music director; By David, a psalm. I relied completely ²  on the Lord, and he turned toward me and heard my cry for help.

They waited for me as people wait ¹  for the rain, and they opened their mouths ²  as for ³  the spring rains.
