and because he worked at the same trade, he stayed with them and worked with them ¹  (for they were tentmakers ²  by trade). ³ 

You may live ¹  among us, and the land will be open to you. ²  Live in it, travel freely in it, ³  and acquire property in it.”

By your great skill ¹  in trade you have increased your wealth, and your heart is proud because of your wealth.

But bring your youngest brother back to me so I will know ¹  that you are honest men and not spies. ²  Then I will give your brother back to you and you may move about freely in the land.’” ³

At the end of seventy years ¹  the Lord will revive ²  Tyre. She will start making money again by selling her services to all the earth’s kingdoms. ³

and casks of wine ¹  from Izal ²  they exchanged for your products. Wrought iron, cassia, and sweet cane were among your merchandise.

Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your trade partners; for lambs, rams, and goats they traded with you.

The merchants of Sheba and Raamah engaged in trade with you; they traded the best kinds of spices along with precious stones and gold for your products.
