“Reconcile yourself ¹  with God, ²  and be at peace ³  with him; in this way your prosperity will be good.

and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed. ¹ 

This is the law of the one with a discharge: the one who has a seminal emission ¹  and becomes unclean by it, ² 

They must keep my charge so that they do not incur sin on account of it ¹  and therefore die ²  because they profane it. I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

Do not neglect hospitality, because through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. ¹ 

And ¹  yearn ²  like newborn infants for pure, spiritual milk, ³  so that by it you may grow up to ⁴  salvation, ⁵ 

or has found something lost and denies it and swears falsely ¹  concerning any one of the things that someone might do to sin ²  –

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf before the Lord and he will be forgiven ²  for whatever he has done to become guilty.” ³ 

For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not acquitted because of this. The one who judges me is the Lord.

While they are watching, dig a hole in the wall and carry your belongings out through it.

Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

For this reason the Jewish leaders ¹  were trying even harder to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was also calling God his own Father, thus making himself equal with God.

(23:1) ¹  A man may not marry ²  his father’s former ³  wife and in this way dishonor his father. ⁴ 

Wine ¹  is a mocker ²  and strong drink is a brawler; whoever goes astray by them is not wise. ³ 

One who quarries stones may be injured by them; one who splits logs may be endangered by them.

When a righteous man turns from his godliness and commits iniquity, he will die for it.

as are those of Hamath also, which adjoins Damascus, and Tyre ¹  and Sidon, ²  though they consider themselves to be very wise.
