And I set myself apart ¹  on their behalf, ²  so that they too may be truly set apart. ³ 

For it is sanctified by God’s word and by prayer.

For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy.

There I will meet ¹  with the Israelites, and it will be set apart as holy by my glory. ² 

By his will ¹  we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified because of the wife, and the unbelieving wife because of her husband. ¹  Otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy.

For indeed he who makes holy and those being made holy all have the same origin, ¹  and so ²  he is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters, ³ 

Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.

The priests and Levites consecrated themselves so they could bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel.

The priests left the holy place. ¹  All the priests who participated had consecrated themselves, no matter which division they represented. ² 

And now I entrust ¹  you to God and to the message ²  of his grace. This message ³  is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. I serve ¹  the gospel of God ²  like a priest, so that the Gentiles may become an acceptable offering, ³  sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Some of you once lived this way. ¹  But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ ²  and by the Spirit of our God.

How much greater punishment do you think that person deserves who has contempt for ¹  the Son of God, and profanes ²  the blood of the covenant that made him holy, ³  and insults the Spirit of grace?

You must not profane my holy name, and I will be sanctified in the midst of the Israelites. I am the Lord who sanctifies you,

do you say about the one whom the Father set apart ¹  and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

to open their eyes so that they turn ¹  from darkness to light and from the power ²  of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share ³  among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

to the church of God that is in Corinth, ¹  to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, and called to be saints, with all those in every place who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours. ² 

They were unable to observe it at the regular ¹  time because not enough priests had consecrated themselves and the people had not assembled in Jerusalem.

Now I have chosen and consecrated this temple by making it my permanent home; ¹  I will be constantly present there. ²
