The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty, the Lord is robed, he wears strength around his waist. ²  Indeed, the world is established, it cannot be moved.

Praise the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, you are magnificent. ²  You are robed in splendor and majesty.

You created the mountains by your power, ¹  and demonstrated your strength. ² 

Who is this who comes from Edom, ¹  dressed in bright red, coming from Bozrah? ²  Who ³  is this one wearing royal attire, ⁴  who marches confidently ⁵  because of his great strength? “It is I, the one who announces vindication, and who is able to deliver!” ⁶ 

Then ¹  I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, wrapped ²  in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun and his legs were like pillars of fire. ³ 

The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; ¹  its features ²  are dyed ³  like a garment.

So Haman took the clothing and the horse, and he clothed Mordecai. He led him about on the horse throughout the plaza of the city, calling before him, “So shall it be done to the man whom the king wishes to honor!”

And she saw two angels in white sitting where Jesus’ body had been lying, one at the head and one at the feet.

As ¹  they were still staring into the sky while he was going, suddenly ²  two men in white clothing stood near them

On a day determined in advance, Herod ¹  put on his royal robes, ²  sat down on the judgment seat, ³  and made a speech ⁴  to them.

Then ¹  one of the elders asked ²  me, “These dressed in long white robes – who are they and where have they come from?”

and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, dressed in clean bright linen, wearing wide golden belts ¹  around their chests.

saying, “Woe, woe, O great city – dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet clothing, ¹  and adorned with gold, ²  precious stones, and pearls –

Then, on Belshazzar’s orders, ¹  Daniel was clothed in purple, a golden collar was placed around his neck, and he was proclaimed third ruler in the kingdom.

In ¹  a circle around the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on those thrones were twenty-four elders. They were ²  dressed in white clothing and had golden crowns ³  on their heads.

Now ¹  the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet clothing, ²  and adorned with gold, ³  precious stones, and pearls. She held ⁴  in her hand a golden cup filled with detestable things and unclean things from her sexual immorality. ⁵ 

He said to her, “What about his appearance?” She said, “An old man is coming up! He is wrapped in a robe!” Then Saul realized it was Samuel, and he bowed his face toward the ground and kneeled down.

All the Levites who were musicians, including Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and relatives, wore linen. They played cymbals and stringed instruments as they stood east of the altar. They were accompanied by 120 priests who blew trumpets.

After these things I looked, and here was ¹  an enormous crowd that no one could count, made up of persons from every nation, tribe, ²  people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with palm branches in their hands.
