Yet she increased her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth when she engaged in prostitution in the land of Egypt.

Therefore be alert, ¹  remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning ²  each one of you with tears.

ז (Zayin) Remember ¹  my impoverished and homeless condition, ²  which is a bitter poison. ³ 

He has helped his servant Israel, remembering ¹  his mercy, ² 

I do not cease to give thanks for you when I remember you ¹  in my prayers.

because we recall ¹  in the presence of our God and Father ²  your work of faith and labor of love and endurance of hope ³  in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.”

By all these things, ¹  I have shown you that by working in this way we must help ²  the weak, ³  and remember the words of the Lord Jesus that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” ⁴ 

God saw ¹  the Israelites, and God understood…. ² 

But this I call ¹  to mind; ²  therefore I have hope:

He has done this ¹  to show mercy ²  to our ancestors, ³  and to remember his holy covenant ⁴  –

By the rivers of Babylon we sit down and weep ²  when we remember Zion.

As I remember your tears, I long to see you, ¹  so that I may be filled with joy.

Then they will place their confidence in God. They will not forget the works of God, and they will obey ¹  his commands.

I praise you ¹  because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions just as I passed them on to you.

then ¹  the man must bring his wife to the priest, and he must bring the offering required for her, one tenth of an ephah of barley meal; he must not pour olive oil on it or put frankincense on it, because it is a grain offering of suspicion, ²  a grain offering for remembering, ³  for bringing ⁴  iniquity to remembrance.

Then the priest will have the woman stand before the Lord, uncover the woman’s head, and put the grain offering for remembering in her hands, which is the grain offering of suspicion. The priest will hold in his hand the bitter water that brings a curse. ¹ 

Then Joseph remembered ¹  the dreams he had dreamed about them, and he said to them, “You are spies; you have come to see if our land is vulnerable!” ² 

So, if a man lives many years, let him rejoice in them all, but let him remember that the days of darkness ¹  will be many – all that is about to come is obscure. ² 

You assist ¹  those who delight in doing what is right, ²  who observe your commandments. ³  Look, you were angry because we violated them continually. How then can we be saved? ⁴
