Now ¹  when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison

Then he released Barabbas for them. But after he had Jesus flogged, ¹  he handed him over ²  to be crucified. ³ 

He released the man they asked for, who had been thrown in prison for insurrection and murder. But he handed Jesus over ¹  to their will. ² 

The lord had compassion on that slave and released him, and forgave him the debt.

The king authorized his release; ¹  the ruler of nations set him free.

The one who suffers ¹  will soon be released; he will not die in prison, ²  he will not go hungry. ³

So the soldiers released the captives and the plunder before the officials and the entire assembly.

And immediately the man’s ¹  ears were opened, his tongue loosened, and he spoke plainly.
