Hezekiah prayed before the Lord:

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord,

Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the stomach of the fish

He went away again and prayed the same thing.

When ¹  he had said these things, he knelt down ²  with them all and prayed.

She was very upset ¹  as she prayed to the Lord, and she was weeping uncontrollably. ² 

He turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord,

He went away from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed,

These two ¹  went down and prayed for them so that they would receive the Holy Spirit.

When the people cried to Moses, he ¹  prayed to the Lord, and the fire died out. ² 

He went in by himself and closed the door. ¹  Then he prayed to the Lord.

“After I had given the copies of the deed of purchase to Baruch son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord,

Then ¹  he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land sprouted with a harvest.

They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed ¹  and placed ²  their hands on them.

I prayed for this boy, and the Lord has given me the request that I asked of him.

The king responded, ¹  “What is it you are seeking?” Then I quickly prayed to the God of heaven

So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same thing once more.

They ¹  continued to stone Stephen while he prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, as well as his wife and female slaves so that they were able to have children.

In those days Hezekiah was stricken with a terminal illness. ¹  He prayed to the Lord, who answered him and gave him a sign confirming that he would be healed. ²
