He replied, “What is impossible ¹  for mere humans ²  is possible for God.”

If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all people. ¹

Then Jesus said to him, “‘If you are able?’ ¹  All things are possible for the one who believes.”

For false messiahs ¹  and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Going a little farther, he threw himself to the ground and prayed that if it were possible the hour would pass from him.

He said, “Abba, ¹  Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup ²  away from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus ¹  so as not to spend time ²  in the province of Asia, ³  for he was hurrying ⁴  to arrive in Jerusalem, ⁵  if possible, ⁶  by the day of Pentecost.

For the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins. ¹ 

Going a little farther, he threw himself down with his face to the ground and prayed, ¹  “My Father, if possible, ²  let this cup ³  pass from me! Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Where then is your sense of happiness ¹  now? For I testify about you that if it were possible, you would have pulled out your eyes and given them to me!

But God raised him up, ¹  having released ²  him from the pains ³  of death, because it was not possible for him to be held in its power. ⁴ 

Those who accompanied Paul escorted him as far as Athens, ¹  and after receiving an order for Silas and Timothy to come to him as soon as possible, they left. ² 

Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord ¹  that he may perhaps forgive you for the intent of your heart. ² 

Nicodemus replied, ¹  “How can these things be?” ² 

and so, somehow, ¹  to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

When day came, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed ¹  a bay ²  with a beach, ³  where they decided to run the ship aground if they could.

But there is little hope for you ever doing good, you who are so accustomed to doing evil. Can an Ethiopian ¹  change the color of his skin? Can a leopard remove its spots? ²
