Nevertheless, ¹  each one of you must also love his own wife as he loves himself, ²  and the wife must ³  respect ⁴  her husband.

The father of your nation ¹  sinned; your spokesmen ²  rebelled against me.

I will give you sincere thanks, ¹  when I learn your just regulations.

And how is it that each one of us hears them ¹  in our own native language? ² 

But as a matter of fact, God has placed each of the members in the body just as he decided.

As for any person ¹  who does any work on this particular day, I will exterminate ²  that person from the midst of his people! ³ 

At that time Jesus went through the grain fields on a Sabbath. His ¹  disciples were hungry, and they began to pick heads of wheat ²  and eat them.

“Which ones?” he asked. Jesus replied, “Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony,

but I have prayed for you, Simon, ¹  that your faith may not fail. ²  When ³  you have turned back, ⁴  strengthen ⁵  your brothers.”

When this sound ¹  occurred, a crowd gathered and was in confusion, ²  because each one heard them speaking in his own language.

I wish that everyone was as I am. But each has his own gift from God, one this way, another that.

And do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, ¹  for God is pleased with such sacrifices.
