Conduct yourselves ¹  with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunities.

In this way you will live ¹  a decent life before outsiders and not be in need. ² 

For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Are you not to judge those inside?

And he must be well thought of by ¹  those outside the faith, ²  so that he may not fall into disgrace and be caught by the devil’s trap. ³ 

So if the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and unbelievers or uninformed people enter, will they not say that you have lost your minds?

Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Seeing that I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh – who are called “uncircumcision” by the so-called “circumcision” that is performed on the body ¹  by human hands –

So then you are no longer foreigners and noncitizens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household,

May there be peace inside your defenses, and prosperity ¹  inside your fortresses! ² 

Our inheritance ¹  is turned over to strangers; foreigners now occupy our homes. ² 

I have not come ¹  to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” ² 

And again it says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.” ¹ 

and thus the Gentiles glorify God for his mercy. ¹  As it is written, “Because of this I will confess you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praises to your name.” ² 

¹ “Foreigners will take care of ²  your sheep; foreigners will work in your fields and vineyards.

None of the rest dared to join them, ¹  but the people held them in high honor. ² 

and he made no distinction ¹  between them and us, cleansing ²  their hearts by faith.

Simeon ¹  has explained ²  how God first concerned himself ³  to select ⁴  from among the Gentiles ⁵  a people for his name.

For just as it is written, “the name of God is being blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” ¹ 

But God will judge those outside. Remove the evil person from among you. ¹ 

And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near,
