“This month is to be your beginning of months; it will be your first month of the year. ¹ 

In the third month they began piling their contributions in heaps ¹  and finished in the seventh month.

All the men of Israel assembled before King Solomon during the festival ¹  in the month Ethanim ²  (the seventh month).

In the first month (that is, the month of Nisan), in the twelfth year ¹  of King Ahasuerus’ reign, pur ²  (that is, the lot) was cast before Haman in order to determine a day and a month. ³  It turned out to be the twelfth month (that is, the month of Adar). ⁴ 

The waters kept on receding ¹  until the tenth month. On the first day of the tenth month, the tops of the mountains became visible. ²

And by the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth ¹  was dry.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, ¹  is a Passover offering to the Lord.

Then Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus at his royal residence in the tenth ¹  month (that is, the month of Tebeth) in the seventh ²  year of his reign.

This was to take place on a certain day throughout all the provinces of King Ahasuerus – namely, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month (that is, the month of Adar).

“‘On the fourteenth day of the first month is the Lord’s Passover.

In the eleventh year, in the month Bul ¹  (the eighth month) the temple was completed in accordance with all its specifications and blueprints. It took seven years to build. ²

“‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you will celebrate the Passover, and for seven days bread made without yeast will be eaten.
