So the Lord said to Moses, “How long do you refuse ¹  to obey my commandments and my instructions?

I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these instructions ¹  to you

Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you greetings, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him).

For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

Reinforce ¹  these commands, ²  so that they will be beyond reproach.

These are the statutes, regulations, and instructions which the Lord established ¹  between himself and the Israelites at Mount Sinai through ²  Moses.

Prepare yourselves by your families according to your divisions, as instructed ¹  by King David of Israel and his son Solomon.
