When ¹  the disciples saw this, they became indignant and said, “Why this waste?

Now ¹  when the other ten ²  heard this, ³  they were angry with the two brothers.

Now ¹  when the other ten ²  heard this, ³  they became angry with James and John.

But when the chief priests and the experts in the law ¹  saw the wonderful things he did and heard the children crying out in the temple courts, ²  “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant

But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. ¹ 

But the president of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, “There are six days on which work ¹  should be done! ²  So come ³  and be healed on those days, and not on the Sabbath day.”

You will not always be angry with me, will you? You will not be mad at me forever, will you?’ ¹  That is what you say, but you continually do all the evil that you can.” ² 

But some who were present indignantly said to one another, “Why this waste of expensive ¹  ointment?

angry ¹  because they were teaching the people and announcing ²  in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is led into sin, ¹  and I do not burn with indignation?

¹ His thunder announces the coming storm, the cattle also, concerning the storm’s approach.

Then the Lord became ¹  zealous for his land; he had compassion on his people.

God is a just judge; he is angry throughout the day. ¹ 

Then the disciples came to him and said, “Do you know that when the Pharisees ¹  heard this saying they were offended?”

but with Cain and his offering he was not pleased. ¹  So Cain became very angry, ²  and his expression was downcast. ³ 

(3:33) ¹  Now when Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall he became angry and was quite upset. He derided the Jews,

The earth heaved and shook; ¹  the roots of the mountains ²  trembled; ³  they heaved because he was angry.

The mouth ¹  of an adulteress is like ²  a deep pit; ³  the one against whom the Lord is angry ⁴  will fall into it. ⁵ 

For the Lord is angry at all the nations and furious with all their armies. He will annihilate them and slaughter them.

Because of this the king got furiously angry ¹  and gave orders to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.
