saying, “Prophesy for us, you Christ! ¹  Who hit you?” ² 

They ¹  blindfolded him and asked him repeatedly, ²  “Prophesy! Who hit you?” ³ 

Saul himself was in the thick of the battle; ¹  the archers ²  spotted him and wounded him severely.

Among this army ¹  were seven hundred specially-trained left-handed soldiers. ²  Each one could sling a stone and hit even the smallest target. ³

in order to shoot down the innocent ¹  in secluded places. They shoot at him suddenly and are unafraid of retaliation. ²

One of the members of the prophetic guild, speaking with divine authority, ordered his companion, “Wound me!” ¹  But the man refused to wound him.

Elijah took his cloak, folded it up, and hit the water with it. The water divided, and the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

I struck all the products of your labor ¹  with blight, disease, and hail, and yet you brought nothing to me,’ ²  says the Lord.

This is the kind of plague that will devastate horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the other animals in those camps.
