Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washing, ¹  each holding twenty or thirty gallons. ² 

The man ¹  replied, ‘A hundred measures ²  of olive oil.’ The manager ³  said to him, ‘Take your bill, sit down quickly, and write fifty.’ ⁴ 

Look, I will pay your servants who cut the timber 20,000 kors ¹  of ground wheat, 20,000 kors of barley, 120,000 gallons ²  of wine, and 120,000 gallons of olive oil.”

It was four fingers thick and its rim was like that of a cup shaped like a lily blossom. It could hold about 12,000 gallons. ¹ 

Indeed, a large vineyard ¹  will produce just a few gallons, ²  and enough seed to yield several bushels ³  will produce less than a bushel.” ⁴ 

He also made ten bronze basins, each of which could hold about 240 gallons. ¹  Each basin was six feet in diameter; ²  there was one basin for each stand.

and Solomon supplied Hiram annually with 20,000 cors ¹  of wheat as provision for his royal court, ²  as well as 20,000 baths ³  of pure ⁴  olive oil. ⁵ 

He will provide as a grain offering an ephah for each bull, an ephah for each ram, and a gallon ¹  of olive oil for each ephah of grain. ² 

With the stones he constructed an altar for the Lord. ¹  Around the altar he made a trench large enough to contain two seahs ²  of seed.

The grain offering will be an ephah with the ram, and the grain offering with the lambs will be as much as he is able to give, ¹  and a gallon ²  of olive oil with an ephah.

He will provide a grain offering: an ephah with the bull and an ephah with the ram, and with the lambs as much as he wishes, ¹  and a gallon ²  of olive oil with each ephah of grain. ³ 

From that time ¹  when one came expecting a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten; when one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty measures from it, there were only twenty.

“‘At the festivals and at the appointed feasts the grain offering will be an ephah with the bull and an ephah with the ram, and with the lambs as much as one is able, ¹  and a gallon ²  of olive oil with each ephah of grain. ³
