When the foundations ¹  are destroyed, what can the godly ²  accomplish?” ³ 

For he was looking forward to the city with firm foundations, ¹  whose architect and builder is God.

He established the earth on its foundations; it will never be upended.

Your perpetual ruins will be rebuilt; ¹  you will reestablish the ancient foundations. You will be called, ‘The one who repairs broken walls, the one who makes the streets inhabitable again.’ ²
