to eat ¹  your fill ²  of the flesh of kings, the flesh of generals, ³  the flesh of powerful people, the flesh of horses and those who ride them, and the flesh of all people, both free and slave, ⁴  and small and great!”

All flesh is not the same: People have one flesh, animals have another, birds and fish another. ¹ 

You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters. ¹ 

and the two will become one flesh. ¹  So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

What is born of the flesh is flesh, ¹  and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

So then, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh

For though we live ¹  as human beings, ²  we do not wage war according to human standards, ³ 

For my flesh is true ¹  food, and my blood is true ²  drink.

You clothed ¹  me with skin and flesh and knit me together ²  with bones and sinews.

The folds ¹  of its flesh are tightly joined; they are firm on it, immovable. ²
