Now the Jewish feast of Tabernacles ¹  was near. ² 

(Now the Jewish feast of the Passover ¹  was near.) ²

So Laban invited all the people ¹  of that place and prepared a feast.

“You must observe ¹  the Feast of Weeks – the firstfruits of the harvest of wheat – and the Feast of Ingathering at the end ²  of the year.

So Isaac ¹  held a feast for them and they celebrated. ² 

During the feast it was customary to release one prisoner to the people, ¹  whomever they requested.

Now ¹  Jesus’ ²  parents went to Jerusalem ³  every ⁴  year for the feast of the Passover. ⁵ 

After this ¹  there was a Jewish feast, ²  and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ³ 

You go up ¹  to the feast yourselves. I am not going up to this feast ²  because my time ³  has not yet fully arrived.” ⁴ 

When the feast was half over, Jesus went up to the temple courts ¹  and began to teach. ² 

Now some Greeks ¹  were among those who had gone up to worship at the feast.

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, ¹  which is called the Passover, was approaching.

So the Jewish leaders ¹  were looking for him at the feast, asking, “Where is he?” ² 

Then came the feast of the Dedication ¹  in Jerusalem. ² 

The Lord who commands armies will hold a banquet for all the nations on this mountain. ¹  At this banquet there will be plenty of meat and aged wine – tender meat and choicest wine. ² 

All the days ¹  of the afflicted ²  are bad, ³  but one with ⁴  a cheerful heart has a continual feast. ⁵ 

“Three times ¹  in the year you must make a pilgrim feast ²  to me.

For they said, “Not during the feast, so there won’t be a riot among the people.” ¹ 

Sound the ram’s horn on the day of the new moon, ¹  and on the day of the full moon when our festival begins. ²
