Caleb received ¹  Hebron, just as Moses had promised. He drove out the three Anakites.

He removed from the land any male cultic prostitutes who had managed to survive the reign of his father Asa. ¹

So the Israelites did so, and expelled them outside the camp. As the Lord had spoken ¹  to Moses, so the Israelites did.

But the Israelites did not conquer ¹  the Geshurites and Maacathites; Geshur and Maacah live among Israel to this very day.

When you summon her for divorce, you prosecute her; ¹  he drives her away ²  with his strong wind in the day of the east wind. ³
