But the Pharisees ¹  said, “By the ruler ²  of demons he casts out demons.” ³ 

But some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, ¹  the ruler ²  of demons, he casts out demons.”

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot take part in the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

But when the Pharisees ¹  heard this they said, “He does not cast out demons except by the power of Beelzebul, ²  the ruler ³  of demons!”

So ¹  he went into all of Galilee preaching in their synagogues ²  and casting out demons.

and to have authority to cast out demons.

The experts in the law ¹  who came down from Jerusalem ²  said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” ³  and, “By the ruler ⁴  of demons he casts out demons.”

No, I mean that what the pagans sacrifice ¹  is to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be partners with demons.

They sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons. ¹ 

Heal the sick, raise the dead, ¹  cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Jesus then ¹  asked him, “What is your name?” He ²  said, “Legion,” ³  because many demons had entered him.

After ¹  Jesus ²  called ³  the twelve ⁴  together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure ⁵  diseases,

Then ¹  the seventy-two ²  returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons submit to ³  us in your name!” ⁴ 

But if I cast out demons by the finger ¹  of God, then the kingdom of God ²  has already overtaken ³  you.

You believe that God is one; well and good. ¹  Even the demons believe that – and tremble with fear. ² 

So ¹  he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. ²  But ³  he would not permit the demons to speak, ⁴  because they knew him. ⁵ 

So ¹  if ²  Satan too is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? I ask you this because ³  you claim that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.

Then the demons begged him, ¹  “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”

But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God ¹  has already overtaken ²  you.

They cast out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
