by casting ¹  all your cares ²  on him because he cares for you.

When ¹  they had crucified ²  him, they divided his clothes by throwing dice. ³ 

So ¹  he went into all of Galilee preaching in their synagogues ²  and casting out demons.

As he went along the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew, Simon’s brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen). ¹ 

A toss of a coin ¹  ends ²  disputes, and settles the issue ³  between strong opponents. ⁴ 

Then ¹  they crucified ²  him and divided his clothes, throwing dice ³  for them, to decide what each would take.

John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him because he was not following us.”

John answered, ¹  “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop ²  him because he is not a disciple ³  along with us.”

Now ¹  he was casting out a demon that was mute. ²  When ³  the demon had gone out, the man who had been mute began to speak, ⁴  and the crowds were amazed.

As ¹  he was walking by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen). ² 

He made the ten stands in this way. All of them were cast in one mold and were identical in measurements and shape.

You have repudiated ¹  your covenant with your servant; ²  you have thrown his crown to the ground. ³ 

“‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things, for the nations which I am about to drive out before you ¹  have been defiled with all these things.

The one hundred talents of silver were used for casting the bases of the sanctuary and the bases of the special curtain – one hundred bases for one hundred talents, one talent per base.

wild sea waves, ¹  spewing out the foam of ²  their shame; ³  wayward stars ⁴  for whom the utter depths of eternal darkness ⁵  have been reserved.

They set your sanctuary on fire; they desecrate your dwelling place by knocking it to the ground. ¹ 

But ¹  he said to them, “Go ²  and tell that fox, ³  ‘Look, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day ⁴  I will complete my work. ⁵ 

You must not walk in the statutes of the nation ¹  which I am about to drive out before you, because they have done all these things and I am filled with disgust against them.

[But Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”] ¹  Then ²  they threw dice ³  to divide his clothes. ⁴ 

and every arrogant obstacle ¹  that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obey ²  Christ.
