On the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony – and ¹  the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted, and brought forth buds, and produced blossoms, and yielded almonds! ² 

On the lampstand there are to be four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms,

Under the rim all the way around it ¹  were round ornaments ²  arranged in settings 15 feet long. ³  The ornaments were in two rows and had been cast with “The Sea.” ⁴

The inside of the temple was all cedar and was adorned with carvings of round ornaments and of flowers in bloom. Everything was cedar; no stones were visible. ¹ 

at the scent ¹  of water it will flourish ²  and put forth ³  shoots like a new plant.

Like a vine he will let his sour grapes fall, ¹  and like an olive tree he will shed his blossoms. ² 

“Look, the day! Look, it is coming! Doom has gone out! The staff has budded, pride has blossomed!

When they sprout leaves, you see ¹  for yourselves and know that summer is now near.

On the vine there were three branches. As it budded, its blossoms opened and its clusters ripened into grapes.

For the waters of Nimrim are gone; ¹  the grass is dried up, the vegetation has disappeared, and there are no plants.
