Do not audit the foremen who disburse the silver, for they are honest.” ¹ 

They did not audit the treasurers who disbursed ¹  the funds to the foremen, for they were honest. ² 

For your lifeblood ¹  I will surely exact punishment, ²  from ³  every living creature I will exact punishment. From each person ⁴  I will exact punishment for the life of the individual ⁵  since the man was his relative. ⁶ 

So ¹  he called the manager ²  in and said to him, ‘What is this I hear about you? ³  Turn in the account of your administration, ⁴  because you can no longer be my manager.’

Do you fix your eye ¹  on such a one? ²  And do you bring me ³  before you for judgment?

I would give him an accounting of my steps; like a prince I would approach him.

Why do you contend against him, that he does not answer all a person’s ¹  words?

As ¹  he began settling his accounts, a man who owed ten thousand talents ²  was brought to him.

They will face a reckoning before ¹  Jesus Christ ²  who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.

The priests should receive the silver they need from the treasurers and repair any damage to the temple they discover.” ¹ 

I ¹  tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.

for before the law was given, ¹  sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin ²  when there is no law.

and he reasoned ¹  that God could even raise him from the dead, and in a sense ²  he received him back from there.

Reuben said to them, “Didn’t I say to you, ‘Don’t sin against the boy,’ but you wouldn’t listen? So now we must pay for shedding his blood!” ¹ 

But set Christ ¹  apart ²  as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess. ³
