“Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”

saying, ¹  “Don’t touch my anointed ones! Don’t harm my prophets!”

O Lord, make the sky sink ¹  and come down! ²  Touch the mountains and make them smolder! ³ 

saying, ¹  “Don’t touch my chosen ²  ones! Don’t harm my prophets!”

for she kept saying, ¹  “If only I touch his clothes, I will be healed.” ² 

You must not eat from their meat and you must not touch their carcasses; ¹  they are unclean to you.

For he had healed many, so that all who were afflicted with diseases pressed toward him in order to touch him.

Then ¹  they came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to Jesus ²  and asked him to touch him.

Now ¹  people were bringing little children to him for him to touch, ²  but the disciples scolded those who brought them. ³ 

The ¹  whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power ²  was coming out from him and healing them all.

He will deliver you ¹  from six calamities; yes, in seven ²  no evil will touch you.

נ (Nun) They ¹  wander blindly ²  through the streets, defiled by the blood they shed, ³  while no one dares ⁴  to touch their garments.

They begged him if ¹  they could only touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

Now people ¹  were even bringing their babies ²  to him for him to touch. ³  But when the disciples saw it, they began to scold those who brought them. ⁴ 

Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch no unclean thing, ¹  and I will welcome ²  you, ³ 

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, ¹  so that the one who destroyed the firstborn would not touch them.

but all the leaders told the whole community, “We swore an oath to them in the name of ¹  the Lord God of Israel. So now we can’t hurt ²  them!

You must set boundaries ¹  for the people all around, saying, ‘Take heed ²  to yourselves not to go up on the mountain nor touch its edge. Whoever touches the mountain will surely be put to death!
