Then Joshua and all Israel returned to the camp at Gilgal.

In the evening the quail ¹  came up and covered the camp, and in the morning a layer of dew was all around the camp.

but the flesh and the hide he completely burned up ¹  outside the camp. ² 

Then Moses returned to the camp along with the elders of Israel.

You are to have a place outside the camp to serve as a latrine. ¹ 

Then Joshua and all Israel returned to the camp at Gilgal.

He caused them to fall right in the middle of their camp, all around their homes.

“Blood guilt ¹  will be accounted to any man ²  from the house of Israel ³  who slaughters an ox or a lamb or a goat inside the camp or outside the camp, ⁴ 

You must expel both men and women; you must put them outside the camp, so that ¹  they will not defile their camps, among which I live.”

¹  And the cloud of the Lord was over them by day, when they traveled ²  from the camp.

After three days the leaders went through the camp

So Joshua made sure they marched the ark of the Lord around the city one time. ¹  Then they went back to the camp and spent the night there. ² 

We must go out to him, then, outside the camp, bearing the abuse he experienced. ¹ 

So they started toward ¹  the Syrian camp at dusk. When they reached the edge of the Syrian camp, there was no one there.

So they came near and carried them away in their tunics to a place outside the camp just as Moses had spoken.

And when the dew came down ¹  on the camp in the night, the manna fell ²  with it.)

And a ¹  young man ran and told Moses, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp!”

When all the men ¹  had been circumcised, they stayed there in the camp until they had healed.

They marched around the city one time on the second day, then returned to the camp. They did this six days in all.

In the camp they resented ¹  Moses, and Aaron, the Lord’s holy priest. ²
