the descendants of Delaiah, the descendants of Tobiah, and the descendants of Nekoda: 652.

For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

The ¹  apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” ² 

Now ¹  when the hour came, Jesus ²  took his place at the table ³  and the apostles joined ⁴  him.

They ¹  laid hands on ²  the apostles and put them in a public jail.

But Peter and the apostles replied, ¹  “We must obey ²  God rather than people. ³ 

They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed ¹  and placed ²  their hands on them.

Both the apostles and the elders met together to deliberate ¹  about this matter.

Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

For I consider myself not at all inferior to those “super-apostles.” ¹ 

For such people are false apostles, deceitful ¹  workers, disguising themselves ²  as apostles of Christ.

But I saw none of the other apostles ¹  except James the Lord’s brother.

From Paul, ¹  an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

For this gospel ¹  I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher. ² 

his son Meraioth, his son Amariah, his son Ahitub,

Then ¹  the apostles gathered around Jesus and told him everything they had done and taught.

When ¹  morning came, he called his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he also named apostles: ² 

Then ¹  they cast lots for them, and the one chosen was Matthias; ²  so he was counted with the eleven apostles. ³ 

They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, ¹  to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ²
