I will personally hold responsible ¹  anyone who then pays no attention to the words that prophet ²  speaks in my name.

It was four fingers thick and its rim was like that of a cup shaped like a lily blossom. It could hold about 12,000 gallons. ¹ 

O Lord, you do not withhold ¹  your compassion from me. May your loyal love and faithfulness continually protect me! ² 

They encourage one another to carry out their evil deed. ¹  They plan how to hide ²  snares, and boast, ³  “Who will see them?” ⁴ 

Do not hold us accountable for the sins of earlier generations! ¹  Quickly send your compassion our way, ²  for we are in serious trouble! ³ 

Make your tent larger, stretch your tent curtains farther out! ¹  Spare no effort, lengthen your ropes, and pound your stakes deep. ² 

But you must return ¹  to your God, by maintaining love and justice, and by waiting ²  for your God to return to you. ³ 

Draw yourselves water for a siege! ¹  Strengthen your fortifications! Trample the mud ²  and tread the clay! Make mud bricks to strengthen your walls! ³ 

But ¹  Jesus met them, saying, “Greetings!” They ²  came to him, held on to his feet and worshiped him.

and the one who lives! I ¹  was dead, but look, now I am alive – forever and ever – and I hold the keys of death and of Hades! ² 

He ¹  seized the dragon – the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan – and tied him up for a thousand years.
